The Sponsorship office team supports mission integration, formation, and governance of all SNDdeN sponsored ministries through educational programs, resources, board development, and in-person gatherings.

U.S. East-West Sponsorship Office

The Sponsorship Office of the U.S. East-West Province of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur works to ensure that the mission, Catholic identity, and educational values rooted in the legacy of St. Julie Billiart are vibrant and present across our sponsored ministries. We provide leadership development, spiritual and mission-based formation, and ongoing support for sponsored ministries in education and healthcare. Our work promotes deep understanding of Notre Dame heritage, mission integration, and governance rooted in Catholic Social Teaching, with a strong focus on inclusion, equity, and care for creation. We collaborate to strengthen accountability and support mission effectiveness throughout the province.

Sponsorship Office Mission Statement

The U.S. East-West Sponsorship Office ensures the integration of the mission, spirituality and priorities of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur with all sponsored educational and healthcare ministries within the East-West Province through governance, formation and collaborative partnerships.

The option to spend the night at the retreat center Thursday or Friday is available on a first come first served basis. Breakfast and lunch are included. Dinner is not provided for overnight guests, but there are several local restaurants nearby. The retreat is free of charge for employees of SJB, Julie House and Notre Dame Health Care Worcester.
Register by April 20, 2026.

A day of prayer, reflection, and community for all staff members of Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur health care centers. You are invited to join us for one or both days, with the option to spend one or two nights at the beautiful Notre Dame Spirituality Center in Ipswich, MA. Enrichment activities are offered on Friday afternoon, including yoga, art projects, and nature walks. 

People of all faiths and religious backgrounds are welcome
