U.S. East-West Sponsorship Office
The Sponsorship Office of the U.S. East-West Province of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur works to ensure that the mission, Catholic identity, and educational values rooted in the legacy of St. Julie Billiart are vibrant and present across our sponsored ministries. We provide leadership development, spiritual and mission-based formation, and ongoing support for sponsored ministries in education and healthcare. Our work promotes deep understanding of Notre Dame heritage, mission integration, and governance rooted in Catholic Social Teaching, with a strong focus on inclusion, equity, and care for creation. We collaborate to strengthen accountability and support mission effectiveness throughout the province.
Through partnership and collaboration, we celebrate the legacy of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur and empower our sponsored ministries to make a lasting impact in the communities they serve.
Sponsorship Office Mission Statement
The U.S. East-West Sponsorship Office ensures the integration of the mission, spirituality and priorities of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur with all sponsored educational and healthcare ministries within the East-West Province through governance, formation and collaborative partnerships.
Embracing Hallmark 5:
Mission and Inclusion in Notre Dame de Namur Education
Taube Center at Notre Dame de Namur University1500 Ralston Ave.Belmont, CA 94002
Join colleagues from across our Notre Dame Learning Communities for a dynamic, interactive workshop designed to strengthen our capacity for civil discourse and deepen our commitment to the dignity of each person, inclusion, and justice. Together, we will explore the question: “As a Notre Dame Learning Community, how do we reverence each member and create systems of inclusion through civil discourse?”
Engaging in reflection, dialogue, and shared learning, we’ll consider how our distinctive values and the Seven Hallmarks of a Notre Dame de Namur Learning Community guide the ways we treat one another and nurture right relationships. Rooted in restorative justice principles, this session offers space for open dialogue, meaningful reflection, and practical strategies to foster understanding, connection, and hope in our shared work.
Please register/RSVP by January 9, 2026
This is an in-person event. Wine and appetizers will be served before and after the program.
